Random Topic: My GumTree Poem
So this year for the GumTree Writing Contest I am submitting a poem. Wow, this is like the second time I have written a poem for the GumTree. The first time was back in 6th grade when I wrote about cafeteria food and how rotten it is. I got 3rd place and was supposed to get 10 bucks, but I somehow or another tied with this other kid. So I got 5 dollars. I don't even know where that 5 dollars is right now. Actually, I think I lost it at school or something..in my locker. Well the whole point to this random topic right now is to bring to you my sort of sucky poem, but hey I think it's the best one I've ever written in my entire lifetime...and I assure you, it hasn't been a long one.
That Spectacular Feeling
Have you ever had that spectacular feeling?
As if you were flying above cloud nine
Like you could jump up and touch the ceiling
Or stand on the horizon line
Like you could time travel to year 3000
Or fill a cup with an entire ocean
Like you could count the grains of sand on a beach
Or express your deepest emotion
Like you could swim the English Channel in one breath
Or play the piano with your toes
Like you could avoid your time of death
Or find an eternal rose
Like you could dig through the earth to China
Or jump off a cliff, spread your wings, and fly
Like you could catch a snowflake in your hand
And not tell it goodbye
Like you could dance to the fastest waltz
Or find the cure for cancer
Like you could compose the greatest song
Or for world peace, find an answer
There are many ways to describe
That very special feeling

Random Topic: Whacked up Printer
Okay, I'm going to confess for the second time in like less than 30 minutes. Geez. Anyways I totally almost wrote "Whapped up Printer." I just thought you guys should know. Anyways, a while ago I was printing out my final copy of the poem above and the printer spazzed out and didn't print some of the words. Weird. I know, right? I'm crazy for writing about such a pointless topic, but hey! It's my blog (:
Random Topic: Do I offend you people?
So, I just noticed that I always call you people, "guys." If you're a girl, do I offend you? Cuz I mean I know some people are easily offended by something like that. If you are then I deeply apologize. I don't mean to say such powerful small words, it just comes out ya, know?
Random Topic: Tight Watch
Right now at this very moment, in my very plain room of green walls and normal colored carpet, a silver watch with white arms is tightly suffocating my wrist. No joke. It's strangling the mess out of my poor wrist, but I guess that is partly my fault...because I made it too tight. brb. *takes fingers away from keyboard and rearranges her watch* Much better. Good watch.
End of Random Topic mumbling...for now...
I will get my butt in bed now because you know how sleep deprivation and hour long exams just don't seem to mix. Personal experience. 5 hours of sleep + 1 hour of geometry exam = 6 as final grade and a 68 as an average. 68 in geometry + my mom = goodbye world for me.
